<p>He can come down on the more dissonant electronic side, which isn&#8217;t really my vibe, but he did a dope mix on <a href="http://www.factmag.com/2009/07/06/fact-mix-63-actress/" target="_blank">FACT</a> last year which hit all the right spots; a little bit of boogie, electro instrumentals and the freaky funk side of 80&#8217;s new wave — influences u can hear in the tune I&#8217;m posting here.</p>
<p>He&#8217;s got a new LP out on <a href="http://www.honestjons.com/shop.php?pid=36068" target="_blank">Honest Jon&#8217;s</a> later in the Spring, you can hear a few snippets on there now which are sounding quite hard edged, let&#8217;s hope he puts the funk back in.</p>

<p>Saying that, if I ever end up in a 6 piece retro 80 funk band (wearing way too much skin tight purple nylon) then this would be always on the set list.</p>
