Thriller-Genie
music

I love this track.
I don’t know anything about it.
The write-up that came with it on sounds of the universe was super vague and all google has given me is that it’s the offshoot of a more well known label and features the work of one of the key artists on the wonky/dubstep/bass scene. I don’t know who that might be, but who cares really, all that matters in the end is the heaviness of that bass drop and the amazingly creative use of a big chunk of the BB & Q Band track “Genie’.
It’s all about what it’s always been all about-taking something old and making it new again.
And this sounds fresher than a Tron gelato.

Yeah, tight tune Jackson — was put to good effect as part of this mix:

Definitely into this one.
Cheers also for pointing the way to that ‘Joy Orbison’ mix (apparently that’s Ray Keith’s nephew)..
